Laois Connects Health and Wellbeing Programme takes place from Monday to Sunday 6 to 12 October. 

 A Four-week self-defence programme for teenage Girls with Portlaoise Combat Academy will commence on Wednesday starting on 25 June, 6-7pm. The classes will take place at Unit 13B, National Enterprise Park, Portlaoise.

SEVENTEEN intrepid cyclists recently completed the grand finale of their Couch to 50km Cycle, which coincided with National Bike Week. The event began in early April with a 10km spin and was organised by Laois Cycling Club.

MEMBERS from Laois Comhairle na nÓg along with Laois Sports Partnership are organising a sports taster day for second year students in which is to be held on Saturday 17 May at Portlaoise Leisure Centre.
