Awards presented to brave Laois firefighters

TWO courageous Laois firefighters were honoured with awards today for their sterling service and dedication.
John Clooney from Durrow Fire Station received his long service award, marking 20 years with Laois County Fire & Rescue Service.
He was joined by Emma Dollard from Rathdowney Fire Station, who received her QQI Award.
They were congratulated by the county’s Chief Fire Officer Declan Power, at a service awards ceremony for emergency service personnel.
