Bingo full house for Laois gardaí!

THE chips were down for a learner driver who encountered Laois gardaí on the M7 motorway.

The driver tested positive for cocaine and there was a stash of cannabis in the glove compartment, while gardaí also uncovered a series of traffic offences.

In a social media post and photo titled ‘M7motorway Bingo – Full House!’, gardaí said today: ‘Laois Roads Policing Unit stopped a Ford Mondeo on the M7… and let’s just say, the driver really committed to breaking the rules.

Here’s what we found:

*Learner driver, unaccompanied 

*No insurance 

*No NCT 

*Tax out nearly 2 yrs 

*Cannabis in the car 

*Tested positive for cocaine 

The driver was arrested and provided a blood sample, while the car was seized and towed away from the motorway. Court proceedings have commenced against the culprit.

Gardaí added: ‘Moral of the story? If your car's paperwork is older than your Snapchat streaks, maybe don't hit the M7 with drugs in the glovebox.’
