Busy Portlaoise road to close for a week

A BUSY Portlaoise route will be closed between 9.15am and 6pm this week for resurfacing works.
The Ridge Road and Park View will close each day from Monday 17 until Friday 21 August while the works are carried out.
Laois County Council said the temporary road closure is scheduled for the L2120 Ridge Road and L6315 Park View daily from 9.15am until 6pm, for resurfacing and improvement works.
The route will be closed from the mini-roundabout at Millview Road and Esker Hills estate as far as the mini-roundabout connecting to St Brigid’s Place and Dr Murphy Place.
