There is an ongoing risk of localised flooding across the road network in County Laois.

A CATHAOIRLEACH’S reception was held in the Council Chamber of Laois County Council to celebrate and honour the Laois camogie team, winners of the All-Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Championship 2025.

LAOIS locals in want of some festive cheer can expect a variety of options this Christmastime.

A PRESENTATION was given to Laois County Council by broadband officer Antoinette Brennan concerning the €2. 6 billion national broadband roll-out plan, at the recent monthly meeting.

Laois County Council is in the running for a major European award.

The local authority has no dedicated funding available, a council official said.
