Laois death notice: James Meehan, Mountmellick

James Meehan, Garoon, Mountmellick, Laois, retired Laois Co Council staff, died peacefully on 2 September, in the loving care of staff at Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally.

Predeceased by his father John and mother Elizabeth.

Very sadly missed by his brothers Michael and Martin, sister Betty, sister-in-law, brother in law, nephews, niece, cousins and all that knew him.

May James Rest in Peace.

James will be reposing at Moloney's Funeral Home, Mountmellick this Friday from 7.30pm, with Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral Mass will be on Saturday at 11am in St Joseph's Church, Mountmellick, followed by burial in St Joseph’s Cemetery.

James's Mass will be live-streamed via the parish webcam.
