Contents of house clear out dumped on back laneway of Laois housing estate

CLLR Caroline Dwane Stanley said there’s serious illegal dumping taking place in the back laneway of O’Moore Place housing estate in Portlaoise.
Speaking at the monthly meeting of Laois County Council on Monday 31 March she said: “The back lane is a thundering disgrace. We need a cross effort from the environment and housing departments to deal with it.
“There’s been serious incidents with rubbish being dumped there over the weekend. I’ve been talking to the litter warden about it and to be honest, there’s people in O’Moore Place that are paying for their bins to be collected and are absolutely screaming as to why this dumping is happening.
