Ballyfin Vintage Day promises countless attractions for all the family on Sunday 24 May
THE countdown is on to Ballyfin Vintage Day, which will draw large crowds to the beautiful area next weekend.
One of the most popular dates on the local vintage calendar, the 2026 Ballyfin Vintage and Veterans’ Club Vintage Rally and Working Day promises something for all the family on Sunday, 24 May.
Supported by Ballyfin GAA, the event will run from 8am to 6pm with activities and entertainment for all ages at Irey, Ballyfin (R32 AD92).
Countless attractions include a funfair, horse and trap rides, food stalls, pets, crafts, music and dance, a raffle with prizes, a Tug of War, an auto jumble, vintage displays and old traditions such as butter making, timber carving and basket making.
The hugely popular dog show will start at 3.30pm, while other attractions range from traditional steam/ tractor threshing of oat sheaves and a rare vintage collection of Lanz tractors to a large display of rare vintage tractors and cars, stationary engines and vintage bikes.
All are welcome to the much-loved event, which brings crowds not only from Laois and throughout the country but also from abroad every year.
