Laois man allegedly threatened to kill at local hotel 19 years ago

A MAN who appeared before last week’s sitting of Portlaoise District Court on two charges of threatening to kill or to cause serious injuries almost 19 years ago was remanded on continuing bail.
Declan O’Brien, Railway Mews, Portarlington, Seskin, Portarlington is charged with the offences, which allegedly took place at the East End Hotel, Portarlington on 8 April and on 30 June 2007.
Judge Susan Fay remanded Mr O’Brien on continuing bail to the 15 June sitting of the court for the service of a book of evidence.
