The late James (Shay) Cox.
James (Shay) Cox, Portlaoise and formerly of Shankill, Dublin died suddenly but peacefully aged 67 years on Wednesday 23 October following a short illness in the kind and compassionate care of the Critical Care Unit at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
Shay was the son of the late James and Philomena Cox and much loved brother of Gerard, Paul, Patricia and Jean.
He will be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, close friends and his Sue Ryder community.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Tuesday morning 29 October from 10am with a Funeral Service beginning at 11am in the funeral home followed by a committal ceremony at 12.45am in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W.
