MIDLAND Regional Hospital Portlaoise has announced the appointment of Eileen Burke as the new Hospital Manager.

A MAN who was drunk and caused a nuisance in the A&E at Portlaoise hospital was fined €200 when he appeared at the local district court.

A DONATION of over €6,823. 50 from the Road to Recovery charity event enabled Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise to purchase two vital pieces of equipment this summer.
