The late John Joseph (Jack) Carter
John Joseph (Jack) Carter of 56 Ashgrove, Tullow Road, Carlow and formerly of 15 Kernanstown, Bennekerry, Co Carlow and Ballylinan passed away peacefully on Thursday 14 November under the loving care of the nurses and staff of Saint Luke’s Hospital. Kilkenny.
Jack was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty).
Much loved father of Mary, Ann, Liz, John, Denis and the late Christopher.
Cherished brother of the late Denis, Patrick, Bridget, Maureen and Lilly.
Adored grandfather of Clare, Marvin, Gavin, Rebecca, Kelly, Edward, Leeann, Michel, Chloe, Leon, Nicole, Samantha and Josh and treasured son of the late Denis and May and father-in-law of Michael, Tommy, Nora and the late Dermot.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, his 14 great grand-children, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, (Eircode R93 C863) on Saturday 16 November from 3pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening.
Funeral Mass on Sunday 17 November at 12 noon in The Holy Family Church, Askea followed by burial afterwards to Saint Anne’s Cemetery, Ballylinan.
