THE former owner of Rocky’s Takeaway in Ballylinan, Co Laois was ordered to pay redundancy to a former employee who had worked at the takeaway for 11 years before being made redundant.

John Joseph (Jack) Carter of 56 Ashgrove, Tullow Road, Carlow and formerly of 15 Kernanstown, Bennekerry, Co Carlow and Ballylinan passed away peacefully on Thursday 14 November under the loving care of the nurses and staff of Saint Luke’s Hospital.
