Laois village is all aglow this Christmas 

The streets of Ballylinan are lit up this Christmas, adding a warm, festive atmosphere to the local community. A huge crowd of local turned out on Saturday evening to see local resident Kit Farrell pushed the switch on the hundreds of light bulbs that adorn the main street and local community hall. Santa Claus and Mrs Claus also paid a visit much to the delight of the youngsters that turned out with their mammies and daddies.
