Portlaoise Court: Woman charged with careless driving causing serious bodily harm

A BOOK of evidence is to be served on a woman charged with careless driving causing serious bodily harm.
Rachel Brophy, Cloney Beacon, Ballickmoyler is charged with the offence, which allegedly took place on 1 June 2023 at Corbally, Ballylinan.
At last week’s sitting of Portlaoise District Court Garda Michael Killennelly said the 28-year-old defendant was arrested and charged with the offence on 21 December last year at Portlaoise Garda Station.
Judge Andrew Cody remanded Ms Brophy on continuing bail to 13 March for preparation of a book of evidence.
