The late John Walsh
John passed away peacefully at his home in Loughteague on Friday morning 18 October.
John was the beloved husband of Mary (Kerr) and loving father to Brigid (Quigley), Anna (Malone) and Siobhán.
Predeceased by his parents Denis and Bridget, brother Tom, and infant daughter Angela.
Deeply regretted by his sister Maureen (Ryan), brothers Jim, Denny and Pat. Cherished grandfather to Michael, Eóin, TJ, Pádraig and Anne.
Sadly missed by his sons-in-law John and Garrett, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, great neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home on Saturday and Sunday 19 and 20 October from 3pm with prayers on both evenings at 8pm.
Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Monday 21 October for 12 noon Requiem Mass in The Church of the Holy Cross Ratheniska, which can be viewed on the church webcam https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/ratheniska-webcam/ Interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
