Death notice in Laois: Richard Brophy – Ballyfin/Mountrath

Richard Brophy, Upper Sconce, Mountrath died suddenly at his home surrounded by his loving family and neighbours on Wednesday 9 July 2025.

Richard was predeceased by his granddaughter Georgia Levi.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ellen, daughters Helen, Janet, Caroline, Carmel and Rachelle, grandchildren Ethan, Theo, Ruby, Oisin, Hannah, Amelia, Harrison and Riley, sons-in-law Alan, Paul, Paul, Robin and Fred, brother and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The family would like to thank the Emergency Services and Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
