Electric Picnic announces final line-up ahead of festival weekend

WITH only days to go, Electric Picnic, one of Ireland’s largest music and arts festivals, has announced its final lineup.

The festival has added Belters Only, Damien Dempsey, Mick Flannery, Kyla Cobbler, The Undertones, Hermitage Green, and Darren Kiely to its lineup.

They join headliners Lewis Capaldi, Fontaines D.C., CMAT, Gorillaz, Zara Larsson, and Sombr, as well as artists The Mary Wallopers, The Saw Doctors, Madra Salach, Junior Brother, Thumper, Mik Pyro, George Houston and more, all of whom are set to perform over the festival weekend.

Electric Picnic takes place 28-30 August and is set to welcome an estimated 80,000 music fans to the 600-acre Stradbally Estate in Co Laois.

Festival favourites such as Provedencia, Croí, Trailer Park, Fish Town, and Mindfield are set to return.

Mother, a Dublin LGBTQ+ club night, is bringing its Queer Dance Party in the Woods back to Electric Picnic this year, transforming the festival's forest floor into a late-night dancefloor from Friday through Sunday.

Running 11pm to 4am, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Mother After Dark will feature Mother's resident DJs alongside special guests; drag performers, dancers and Dublin's queer nightlife regulars.

The festival gave Mother its own dedicated late-night home in the woods in 2022, and this year's edition builds on that tradition.

The gardaí encourage those attending the festival to make their way to the site at Stradbally by public transport where possible.

Gardaí strongly encourage those not attending to avoid using the road networks around Stradbally from 10am Thursday 27 August to 5pm on Monday 31 August.
