Gardaí renew appeal for missing Laois boy

Jake Cunningham Burke has been missing since Monday 16 June

GARDAÍ have renewed an appeal for a Laois teenager, who has been missing from his home for the past nine days.

They are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Jake Cunningham Burke, who is reported missing from Mountmellick since Monday 16 June.

Jake is about 5 feet in height, with a slim build, black hair and green eyes. He is believed to have travelled to the Carlow area.

A missing person appeal on 21 June was renewed by gardaí yesterday, Tuesday 24 June.

Anyone with any information on Jake's whereabouts is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda station on 057 867 4100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
