THE Croí stage at the Electric Picnic is back for its third year.
Once again it celebrates the originality of the Irish music scene with another incredible lineup with performances from the likes of Andy Irvine, David Holmes, Brigit Mae, Power, Post Punk Podge and the Technohippies and more.
There will also be workshops and classes across the weekend with Embody Your Essence with Meg Wrenn - Maura Rath - Allan Muller - Christine Higgins - Lorraine Hogan - Afro Twerk with Lapree Lala - Somatic Devotion and Techno Yoga with Naoise
Described as the soulful sanctuary at the heart of Electric Picnic the Croí stage area is a vibrant, welcoming space, a nourishing hub of movement, music and mindful connection.
By day, the Croí mainstage celebrates the originality of the Irish music scene with another incredible lineup of island legends performing on the stunning tree build stage wrapped in a natural amphitheatre and hosted by Áine O'Brien and The Wild Geeze.
Croí is also a hub of mood-boosting movement and meditation with an array of uplifting classes and workshops throughout the day. There will be yoga, energising dance sessions, wood-fired hot tubs and Nordic saunas.
Wellness Therapists will also be at Croí to transform your energy and invoke true rest and relaxation.
As the sun sets, Croí transforms into a fire-lit gathering place pulsing with rhythm, soul and creativity with a soundtrack of Ireland’s most exciting musicians, poets and DJs.
The Trad tent also returns with the wild and tender traditional sounds of the Clare session, while Cruit Éireann Harp Ireland presents three days of Irish harp music at its most vibrant. Laois Harp Ensemble will also be performing over the weekend. From master players to rising talents, the unique line-up celebrates the living legacy of Ireland’s national instrument sharing the rich tradition of the Irish harp at the heart of Irish culture, past and future.
