Laois Gardaí seize eight cars during major road safety clampdown

Laois Roads Policing Unit (RPU) conducted checkpoints with Road Safety Authority and Social Welfare Department throughout the county today. A variety of offenses were detected, including no insurance, no CRW, no NCT, no tax, bald tyres and they met one "chancer" who produced a false driving licence. A total of eight vehicles were seized.
