Laois gardaí seize motorbike from learner doing 168kph

A MOTORBIKE was seized from a learner driver who was caught doing 168kph in Laois today.
The motorcyclist was pulled in by the Laois Roads Policing Unit, after it was recorded at high speed on the M7 motorway.
The driver was a learner permit holder and the motor tax had expired 197 days ago, just over six months.
Posting photos from the scene (above) on social media, gardaí confirmed that the vehicle was seized and towed away.
Court proceedings have commenced against the motorcyclist for a series of traffic offences.
