Laois Homecoming Festival Returns

The Lovely Laois Homecoming Festival will return next weekend, running from Friday 4th of September to Sunday the 6th.

The festival will take a different form on each of its days with the biggest event, the Country Music Festival, taking place on the Sunday. The current lineup for that day includes an array of some of Irelands’ most celebrated entertainers including Sandy Kelly, Shawn Cuddy, Paddy O Brien and The Musketeers – Mick Foster, TR Dallas and Billy Morrissey.

Friday will see a variety of events including a songwriting workshop, dances, and various other arts themed events. The highlight for Saturday will be a Gala Dinner billed as celebrating the Guest of Honour - former RTÉ broadcaster Eileen Dunne - and various other local unsung heroes, including Noel Burke, representatives for the Arc Project, Tom Duffy, and other representatives from the Abbeyleix House and Farm. Tickets for this event are €69 a head.
