Laois Shopping Centre celebrates 33 years

LAOIS Shopping Centre in Portlaoise is celebrating its 33rd birthday today.

Sharing photos from its opening day on 28 November 1991, the centre said on social media: ‘Congratulations to Centre Manager Kevin Doyle, who has been here from the start and made the centre what it is today for the community to enjoy.

‘Thank you to all our loyal customers over the years.’ 

The centre has grown to include over 30 top name stores, including Tesco, Penneys and Dealz and has 1200 free parking spaces.
