Major housing development planned for Mountmellick Road in Portlaoise

The company intends applying for permission to construct 74 new residential dwellings along the Mountmellick Road along the N80 in Portlaoise
HEBRON Mooncoin Limited said that it intends to apply to Laois County Council for permission to construct 74 new residential dwellings along the Mountmellick Road on the N80 in Portlaoise.
The company said that the 74 dwelling development, if approved, will consist of 24 duplexes, consisting of 12 two-bed units and 12 three-bed units over three storeys, and 50 apartments and houses, consisting of 12 one-bed apartments, 10 two-bed apartments, 7 two-bed houses and 21 three-bed houses. The company said that all apartments and houses will be two storeys in height.
The development, the company said, will also include the provision of private amenity space, 128 car parking spaces, including six visitor spaces, landscaped public open space, associated boundary treatments, street lighting, foul and sustainable drainage and all associated site development works necessary to facilitate the development.
