Missing Laois man and teenager found safe

A LAOIS man who was missing since last Thursday has been located safe and well.

Gardaí confirmed early this morning that Brian Cahill (38), who was reported missing from Clonaslee on 24 July, has been located.

In a separate missing persons case, gardaí also confirmed this morning that Jake Cunningham Burke (16) has been found safe and well.

The teenager had been reported missing in Mountmellick, Laois on Tuesday 8 July.

In both cases, gardaí said: ‘An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.’
