THERE’S just one more sleep until Santa arrives in Portlaoise!
A festive feast will get underway on Main Street at 6pm for the big Christmas lights switch-on with choirs, carols and even free selfies with Santa himself.
The programme for Friday 21 November announced by Laois Co Council is:
6pm: Children's Choir
6.15pm: Welcoming address by Cathaoirleach Cllr Barry Walsh
6.20pm: Santa arrives!
6.30pm: Switch-on of the town’s Christmas lights
6.30pm - 7pm: Community Choir
7pm - 7.30pm: Free Santa selfie opportunity!
It will be a wonderful family celebration filled with cheer, so don’t miss it!
