Portlaoise boy marks first day in third class

THE years are flying by for Portlaoise primary school pupil Alex Fogarty, who marked his first day in third class last week.
The nine-year-old was delighted to rejoin his classmates at Holy Family Senior School.
Every year, the family take his photograph in the same spot in the kitchen before he sets off for school and this year was no exception.
The family sent us this lovely picture of Alex as he marks another milestone.
