Portlaoise gardaí recover seven 'stolen' bicycles

The Portlaoise Detective Branch has recovered a total of 7seven bicycles in Portarlington on Sunday 13 October. Two of these bicycles have already been returned to their rightful owners, and we have identified a third, which will hopefully be returned tomorrow.
Among the recovered bicycles, we have a white and red bicycle and a red Trek bicycle, both believed to have been taken from the Portarlington train station on the 12th of October. However, these thefts have not yet been officially reported to An Garda Síochána.
If you recognise any of these bicycles or believe one may belong to you, please contact Portlaoise Garda Station on (057) 8674100 to assist us in reuniting these bikes with their owners.
We encourage anyone who has had a bike stolen but has not yet reported it to come forward as soon as possible.
