Portlaoise pauses to honour military dead

Portlaoise remembered the men and women from Laois who died in the Great War and those who gave their lives in past wars and on UN duty at the Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial Park, Portlaoise in last weekend. Cathaoirleach of Laois Co Council Pádraig Fleming placed a wreath on behalf of the people of the town in memory of those who died.
