Search for missing man stood down after body found

A Kildare man who went missing on Wednesday has been sadly found deceased.
Gardaí have stood down the missing person appeal in respect of 28-year-old Richard Bracken, who was reported missing from Athy following the discovery of a man’s body.
A statement said: ‘An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required and no further information is available at this time.’
