Shocked family disturbed by masked burglars

A FAMILY got the fright of their lives when three masked men broke in through their front door on Saturday night.
The door of their rural home wasn’t locked and the men entered at around 7.45pm, disturbing the occupants.
The men were wearing all black and snoods covered their faces but they did not carry weapons. They stole an unknown quantity of cash from the family in Straduff near Myshall, Co Carlow.
The family did not see a vehicle arriving or leaving the property.
The incident is being investigated by gardaí but no arrests have been made.
Gardaí are appealing for people who witnessed suspicious vehicles or activities in the area on Saturday 15 November to come forward.
