Staff stage mass walk out at Portlaoise Mail Centre over alleged 'insensitive comments'

According to reports, staff at the Portlaoise Mail Centre staged a mass walkout on Monday night (24th) following what were described as insensitive comments made by a senior member of staff.
It has been reported, employees in the letters department were visibly distressed due to the ongoing disappearance of their colleague and friend, Tom Raftery from Portarlington, who was last seen after leaving work on Friday evening.
In a show of solidarity and concern, staff across the mail centre gathered outside for a prayer service, expressing hope for Tom’s safe return.
