Strabdally Library hosts crochet design course
Cathaoirleach of Laois Co Council Catherine Fitzgerald alongside Eileen Dunne (LOETB), Gillian Cunningham (LOETB), Michelle Quirke (Stradbally Library) and members of Stradbally Library’s Knitting and Crochet Club
EARLIER this year, Stradbally library hosted a crochet design course, which was organised by Laois-Offaly Education Training Board and facilitated by tutor Courtney-Jean Murray.
During each course, participants honed their skills before producing a crochet flower arch. The flower arch, which recognises the partnership between LOETB and Laois County Library Service, was recently put on display in Stradbally library, with cathaoirleach of Laois Co Council Catherine Fitzgerald in attendance.
