Tragic update in search for missing man

THE search for a young man who was missing from Co Kildare has been stood down, following the tragic discovery of a body.
Gardaí confirmed the sad news last night, as they called off a missing person appeal for Lawrence (Lar) Delaney (23), who was reported missing from Naas since Friday 8 August.
Gardaí said in a statement: ‘An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.’
