UPDATE: Laois gardaí release three people being questioned relating to sinister Portlaoise murder probe
William Delaney was reported missing in 2019
Gardaí in Portlaoise investigating the murder of William Delaney, who went missing on Wednesday 30th January, 2019, have released the three people (two women and a man) who were arrested on Monday 24th November 2025, in connection with this investigation.
The two women (aged in their 30’s and 50’s) and the man (aged in his 30’s) were all released without charge and investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí continue to appeal to the community and would like to thank them for their assistance so far, however Gardaí believe that people in the community have information and have not yet come forward.
