WITH temperatures high up in the 20s and the sun blazing down, people flocked to Corbally, Abbeyleix on Sunday 13 July to take in the atmosphere and fun at the 2025 Raheen Vintage Rally Day.

It was truly a memorable, family fun-filled occasion with vintage tractor and car displays, threshing, entertainment as well as a country market.

Gavin Gribben and Aishling Rafferty, with their support band, had the crowds up and dancing, while social media inspirational rural life, farming and animal care promoter Katie Shanahan also had them up on the ground, teaching some fantastic line dancing moves.

The hugely popular and affable Youtuber Farmer Phil was on hand as a special guest, dispensing his farming tips in his down to earth manner.

One of the most hotly contested events was the dog show, held in association with The Haven Rescue. There were also auctions, wheel of fortune, a working forge, a bake sale and many activities and entertainment for children.

Funds raised on a fantastic day went to the suicide prevention support group Teac Tom and local charities.
