Warning as floods close Laois road
The flooded road between Coolrain and Camross
A WARNING has been issued to motorists as a Laois road is closed due to flooding this evening.
The road from Coolrain to Camross is impassable due to heavy floods.
In a notice after 6pm, the Coolrain Village Facebook page posted an image (above) of the flooded road, which is closed until further notice.
Many roads around the county are in dangerous condition, with very wet surfaces and spot flooding and drivers are urged to take extra care.
