What have you got to lose by giving me your No.1 asked Laois election candidate?

Independent general election candidate Pauline Flanagan is asking the Laois electorate to consider giver her their No 1 vote.

INDEPENDENT candidate in Laois Pauline Flanagan is making a final push to garner as many votes as she can ahead of tomorrow’s general election.

In her final press release to local media Ms Flanagan said: “It has been an honour to meet so many people over the canvass period and a lot of you know how passionate and capable I am about ensuring Laois continues to grow in business, in sport, in community, education, health and in the arts/tourism sector.”

Explaining why she left it to the final day to register as a candidate in the election, Ms Flanagan said: “A lot of people are asking why I left it so late to put my name in, and to be honest, apart from personal reasons (my Mam has been in a bad car crash, but is improving day by day thank goodness), but I also had to consider the basic maths of three into 12 does not go.”

With 12 candidates in the election race Laois voters are set to return just three.

She said: “I ask you to consider who you want representing you in Laois? I am a professional, strong, capable candidate who cares deeply about you the voter and most importantly, with a background in education and politics. I am more than capable of ensuring Laois does not continue to be a forgotten county.

“There is lots to be done. And. What have you got to lose by giving me your No.1? You have everything to gain.”
