Katie Taylor's Croke Park farewell fight is set to be confirmed later this week, with a press conference announced for this Friday.
The Bray boxer's promoter, Matchroom Boxing, has called a press conference at Croke Park on Friday afternoon.
It's expected that her final bout will take place at GAA HQ on September 5th.
Taylor's opponent should be confirmed at Friday's press event.
Earlier this year, Taylor committed to fighting in Dublin only for the final fight of her professional career.
It was then changed to having a finale in Croke Park or nowhere, with extensive talks taking place with stadium officials in recent weeks.
Taylor has been ordered to fight Flora Pili for the WBC Super-Lightweight title.
Other possible opponents could be Chantelle Cameron or Holly Holm.
Speaking to RTE earlier this year, Taylor articulated how fighting at Croke Park in her final bout would be a dream come true.
"It would be the icing on the cake to end my career in Croke Park. I fought in Madison Square Garden. I fought in the Excel Arena in London. I fought all around the world. This might even top it to be honest if I ended my career here. So here's hoping.
The Wicklow boxer's last fight was victory over Amanda Serrano last July, making it 3-0 in their trilogy.
