Mary (Mai) Moran nee Whelan, 196 Whitney Place, Graiguecullen and formerly of Dublin Road, Carlow died on 8 December, peacefully at home in her 94th year.

Beloved wife of the late Jim and mother of the late Denis. Sadly missed by her son Pat, daughters Mary-Clare, Eilish, Patricia, Anna, Martina and Christine, brother George, sister Annette, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Mai Rest in Peace.

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Monday evening from 3pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Tuesday via Whitney Place, walking from there at 10.45am to St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen to arrive for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
