Noel died on 2 December at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Bridget and Patrick and his brother Donal.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Bridie (Salmon), his daughter Catriona Small (Brisbane) and his sons Padraig and Peter, his adored granddaughter Niamh, sons-in-law Alan and Sean, sisters Ann Fox, brothers Pat, Peter and Liam, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
