Fuel protests: What public transport routes are affected?

The ongoing fuel protests are bringing widespread disruption to public transport routes across the country.

Bus Éireann

Due to ongoing disruptions, Route 51 services will operate only between Cork and Limerick until further notice.

At Limerick, a connecting bus will be provided to transport passengers travelling onwards to Shannon Airport.

Ongoing fuel protests are causing disruption on this route at Junction 11 on the M20.

Route 401

Road closures will take place on the Castlepark Rd., Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4pm until April 24th.

Services on Route 401 will be unable to serve Glenavon Drive, Gortcam, Ard Álainn, Ballybane N.V. and Clareview Park. A temporary bus stop will be located near Windsor Motors.

Route 487

Tralee services Routes 270, 271, 272, 275, 279, 279A

Due to ongoing protests, all Tralee and Killarney services operating (in both directions) may experience significant disruptions, including delays and diversions, Bus Éireann said.

Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey and to check the website regularly for the latest updates.

Route 2 – Dublin Airport to Wexford

Diversion: Services will operate via the N11 and East Link, rejoining the route at Loughlinstown Hospital.
