Death notice for Cyril Fitzpatrick, 1 St. Patrick's Terrace, Castletown and formerly Aughafan, Castletown, Laois.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Cyril Fitzpatrick, aged 55, who passed away peacefully on 27 March in ICU in St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.
Cyril was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife and best friend Michelle, his adoring children Cyril Jnr and Rosalín, Rosalín's husband David and Cyril's partner Khimmie, his loving sister Mairead and his brothers Kevin, Ger and Kenneth, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
Treasured son of the late Winnie and Tom (Giggie) and cherished brother of Ray. We take comfort in knowing that Cyril is now at peace after a long illness fought bravely.
Ar dhéis Dé go raibh a anam dílis Reposing at his home 1 St. Patrick's Terrace, Castletown, (Eircode R32K7E2) this Saturday from 3pm to 7pm, with rosary at 6pm.
Removal from his home on Sunday to St. Edmund's Church, Castletown, for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown.
