Laois death notice: Anne Murphy, Portlaoise

Anne Murphy of 2 Borris Meadows, Portlaoise, Laois and formerly of Kernanstown, Carlow passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday 23 February.

Predeceased by her parents William and Veronica and grandson Dylan.

Beloved mother of William, Pamela, Philip, Clare Rose, Ricky, Tanya and Padraig and cherished sister of Tony, William, Veronica, Siobhan, Rose Mary and Jackie.

She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchild, son-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Anne’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Anne will repose at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow (R93 C863) on Wednesday 25 February from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm that evening.

Removal from there on Thursday morning at 9.45am to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am.

Funeral afterwards to Carpenter Bros Cremation Chapel, Shamrock Sq., for cremation Service at 11.30am approximately.
