Laois death notice: Betty O'Brien (née Phelan), Barrowhouse

Betty O'Brien (née Phelan), Barkersford, Athy, Kildare and formerly of Dunbrin, Barrowhouse, Laois died on Thursday 5 March in the care of Farnogue Nursing Home, Wexford, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents, husband Phil and brother Michael.

Much loved mother to Anne, John, Helen and Niall. Deeply regretted by her family, sons-in-law John and Tom and daughters-in-law Dolores and Mary.

Sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Aisling, Luke, Jack, Lucy and Jane , nieces and nephews Tom, Kevin, Seamus and Maggie, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home, Barkersford, Athy (R14 VX51) on Friday 6 March from 2pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 7pm.

Removal on Saturday morning to arrive at St Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am, with livestream link on the parish webcam. Burial afterwards in St Michael's Old Cemetery, Athy.

House private on Saturday morning, please.
