Laois death notice: Breda Griffin (née McDonnell), Shanahoe

Breda Griffin (née McDonnell), Terenure, Dublin and late of Shanahoe, Laois died peacefully at home on 6 October, with her daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Pádraig by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Charlie and baby daughter Maria. Forever loved and sadly missed by her daughter Elizabeth, son-in- law Pádraig, sisters Anne (O’Byrne), Kathleen (Lawler), Mary (Dunne), Cepta (Bronisz) and brother Walter McDonnell, brother-in-law Larry, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her wonderful friends.

May Breda rest in peace.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin village on Thursday 9 October from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Greenhills, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.
