Laois death notice: Bridie (Bridget) Rohan (née Brannigan), Shanahoe

Bridie (Bridget) Rohan (née Brannigan), Annegrove, Shanahoe, Laois/Lowhill, Ballinakill, Kilkenny, passed away peacefully at home on 5 June, surrounded by her loving family, in her 92nd year.

Predeceased by her husband Liam, parents Edward and Julia, siblings Mary, Ann, Rose and Michael.

Sadly missed by her children John, Anne Marie (Miller, Galway), Mary Clare (Kearney, Cork) and Brian, her cherished grandchildren Rory, Roisin, Emma, Ella, Cathal, Killian, Julie, Emily, and Liam, sons-in-law Aidan and Brian, daughter-in-law Norma, sisters Nellie (Donovan, Meath), Peggy (Corr, Cork) and Sheila (Walsh, Kilkenny), sisters-in-law Maura Fitzpatrick and Maura Brannigan, brother-in-law Michael Walsh, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and wonderful team of exceptional carers.

May Bridie rest in peace.

Reposing at her home ( R32X983) this Saturday from 3.30pm, pausing for prayers at 6.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Sunday at 2pm in St Brigid’s Church, Shanahoe, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Alzheimer’s Association.
