Laois death notice: Christina (Chrissie) Bennett (née Coleman), Portarlington

Christina (Chrissie) Bennett (née Coleman), Main Street, Portarlington, Laois and formerly of Kilcappagh, Cloneygowan, Offaly died peacefully on 9 March, surrounded by her loving family, while in the tender care of the staff of The Residence Nursing Home, Portlaoise.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy, grandchildren Liam and Sean, parents Bill and Jane, sister Maureen, brothers Shem, Chris, Gus and Joe.

Deeply regretted by her loving sons Bill, Joe, Eamon, Mike, Padraig, Evin, Austin, Ronan and Colin, daughters Patricia, Anna and Mary, sister Dore, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Chrissie Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her residence (R32 W023) this Thursday evening from 5pm, with Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Friday morning at 9.30am, arriving at St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.

Chrissie's Requiem Mass will be streamed live on the church webcam.
