Laois death notice: David Tyrrell, Coolrain

David Tyrrell, Cahir, Coolrain, Laois, passed away peacefully on Friday 6 March, surrounded by his loving family, just short of his 97th birthday. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary.

Dearly loved father of Gerard, Christopher, David, Anthony, Catherine, Noel, Brigit and Joseph. Cherished grandfather to Craig, Daniel, Jessica, Aaron, Robert, Katie, Jack, Hannah, Kevin and Isabel, great-grandfather to Riley, Ella, Lilly, Arthur, Henry, Sienna, Alfred and Logan, father-in-law to Vincent, Caroline, Karen and Annette. Sadly missed by his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath (R32Y661) on Monday from 6pm, concluding with Rosary at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am in St Fergal’s Church, Camross (R32 VY79), followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

David’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on the church webcam.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Irish Cancer Society Special thanks to all the staff at Oghill Nursing Home, who cared for David in his final days.
